I’m a big fan of holiday hacks – how about you? When the holiday is over, I’m left with lots of little Christmas decor items that I have no idea what to do with. I mean, some of them go back into the storage bins for next year. But I can’t save everything . . . there’s too much. And some of it will not be used again because my tastes and decor change over the years.
This month, as part of my Michael Makers monthly challenge, I was tasked with turning three old/use Christmas decor items into something new! A Christmastime holiday hack, if you will. I chose to revamp cookie containers, Merry miniatures, and a beaded garland. Here are the before and afters:
into gift giving containers! Get the tutorial here.
into a fun bracelet and ring set to accompany your ugly Christmas sweater next year! Get the tutorial here.
into a new necklace! Get the tutorial here.
Definitely go check out all of these tutorials and let me know what you think!
Michaels has tons of holiday project ideas and instructions on their Michaels.com, including gift wrapping, home décor, last minute gift ideas, hostess gifts and more.
This month different bloggers were challenged by Michaels to complete different holiday hacks. Check out the other four holiday hack topics and the unique ideas all of the makers came up with on Michaels’ blog, The Glue String, or on the list below!
