Make a quick photo booth backdrop using items you already have around the house. This is budget friendly and can be used again and again!
Hello everyone! My name is Megan and I blog over at Homemade Ginger. I’m so excited to share this fun little tutorial with you all today. My daughter is turning 7 and has requested a tea party with some of her friends.
One of the activities at the party will be a photo booth. I wanted to come up with a super fun backdrop using things I already had around the house.
I love how the confetti painted photo booth backdrop turned out – it can be used for future events and parties!
DIY Photo Booth Backdrop
Here’s what you will need:
- White Sheet
- Acrylic Paint
- Paint Brush
- Materials for garland (optional)
Instructions
It’s so simple, I just kind of came up with it and I love how it resembles confetti. Perfect for a party photo booth! All you need to do is spread out your sheet.
I laid mine out on newspapers on the kitchen floor. Use the paint brush to make large brush strokes randomly throughout the sheet.
Keep adding colors until you like how it looks.
Once it’s dry, find a blank wall to hang it up. I just used thumbtacks. I also made a garland out of doilies to add some more flair.
I’m going to take photos of all the girls with props and send them their photo along with the thank you card in the mail. How fun!
I hope you will create one for your next party!
