Do you love making your own DIY Christmas tree ornaments? This fun “Game of Life” version is based on the popular game from your childhood!

Do you love making your own DIY Christmas tree ornaments? This fun "Game of Life" version is based on the popular game from your childhood!Growing up, I always loved playing The Game of Life. Imagining what career and family I would have someday was so exciting! My kids love to play the game now too. We love making DIY Christmas tree ornaments and I thought it would be cute to make an ornament with some old game pieces.

Don’t worry, no games were harmed in the making of this ornament. I ordered the pieces off eBay from someone who was selling extras. The little people pegs represent our family! Just enough to fill up the car.

To make your own, you’ll need:

  • clear plastic ball ornament (it needs to have a flat bottom and be open in the front)
  • Life game pieces – house, car, and people
  • small bottlebrush tree
  • artificial snow flakes
  • hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • white school glue
  • ribbon
  • wire cutters (optional)

I just dipped the very bottom of each peg in some of the hot glue dripping out of my glue gun.
