Here are the materials that you’ll need:

Let’s make ourselves some Halloween buckets!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAStep 1:
Wash and dry your bucket. (We went to the beach a lot this summer, so ours were completely encased in sand. Ick!)

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAStep 2:
Sketch out your designs for your bucket. (As you can tell from the photo, my 4-year-old was heavily involved in the process. He wanted something scary with teeth, and I wanted a happy face. Good thing we have two buckets.)

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAStep 3:
Once you’ve chosen a design, draw out your pattern pieces and then cut them out.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAStep 4:

Now it’s time to transfer your pattern pieces to duct tape. Cut off a piece of duct tape. Stick it to your cutting mat. Then, use your craft knife to trace around your pattern pieces.
