Check out my secret for getting those labels off plastic containers and displaying your crafty goods – with the easiest ever recycled craft storage bins.
Our house is always overflowing with craft supplies. And finding easy, inexpensive ways to store them that also looks nice is a challenge. Cue the recycling bin.
I started shopping for groceries in bulk about a year ago, and with that came larger plastic containers that are too good to throw out.
Check out my secret for getting those labels off and displaying your crafty goods with the easiest ever recycled craft storage bins.
A good heat gun is the key (which you can find at any hardware store–it’s good for a number of things). Also a label peeler, those you can find on Amazon (or use an old credit card).
Warm the label up with the heat gun, then simply scrape the label up with the peeler.
Most of the sticky stuff should come up if you warmed the label enough. If not, just use a rag and some rubbing alcohol to remove the rest.
Then just pop your pretty craft supplies in!
These recycled craft storage bins are also an easy way to see what you have–and what else you might need to add to your stash.
You could even take it up a level and spray paint your lids to match. What are your favorite ways to store and display your craft supplies?
