Easy Valentine’s Day Gift – You’ve Made the Mark(er) Printable

If you have a friend or coworker that you want to give a Valentine's Day gift, this embroidered pen holder with a free printable is perfect!

Valentine’s Day is less than a month away and before you know it, the whole world will be covered in chocolate covered strawberries and conversation hearts.

If, however, you’re looking for a fun, sugar-free gift for your favorite Valentine, this is the perfect tutorial! Throw a few markers in a pretty pencil cup, add the free “You’ve Made A Mark” tag, and that’s it. This would be a great gift for any student, office pal, or teacher!

“You’ve Made A Mark” Easy Valentine Gift

Materials:

  • Pencil Cup
  • Markers
  • “You’ve Made A Mark” Free Label

Step One. Decorate your pencil cup. I found this inexpensive one in the dollar section at Target and loved the pretty mint color.

Adding a pretty heart embellishment only took about 15 minutes with some pink yarn and a large embroidery needle. Totally not necessary but it really does add a fun handmade element to the gift!

Step Two. Enclose markers in a plastic baggie (or leave in the original packaging) and secure “You’ve Made a Mark” Free Gift Tag with a piece of twine.

If you have a friend or coworker that you want to give a Valentine's Day gift, this embroidered pen holder with a free printable is perfect!

Done and done! How easy was that? I love that this gift is super practical and corney all at the same time! Plus, what student or co-worker wouldn’t appreciate some nice new markers? I know I would!
