Lunchbox notes for St. Patrick's Day

Who loves a good joke here and there? Especially when it’s a super silly, St. Patrick’s Day one? Meee! I’m Vanessa Brady from Tried & True and I’m back to share these fun St. Patrick’s Day lunch box jokes with you. We’re a big fan of lunch box notes around here, especially for the holidays. And St. Pat’s is not exception!

Sure these St. Patrick’s Day jokes are a little corny, but that’s what makes them jokes, right? Your children are going to love them. Slip a note into each lunch bag while they aren’t looking!

It doesn’t get much cornier than that, right? Considering that we are celebrating a holiday that is often represented by small men in green top hats, I think my jokes are awfully appropriate.

The easiest way to use this free printable would be to just trim and throw into a lunch box on St. Patrick’s Day (which is always March 17th).

You could also staple the cards to a snack-size bag of cookies for a classroom treat or put a little double-sided tape to the back and attach it to a lunch bag.

If you choose to print out these stickers, I hope you’ll consider the following supplies that I love using for printables. These are my tried and true tools that guarantee the best results.

  • STICKER PAPER – I recommend printing on THESE Avery full sheet labels. You’ll get a pack of 25 sheets and then you can print tons of free Happy Planner stickers that you find online!
  • PAPER CUTTER – My Fiskars SureCut Deluxe Paper Trimmer is also Amazon’s Choice with 4.8/5 stars, if that means anything. I absolutely love it and use it for everything. I always have replacement blades too.
  • SCISSORS – I use Fiskar Titanium, no exceptions. I’m addicted to these scissors and won’t let anyone else use them. They DO cut better than other scissors, in my opinion. I’ve been using the same green-handled ones for years and they are still unbelievably sharp!

Hope you and your kids enjoy these St. Patrick’s Day lunch box jokes! For another holiday printable that kids will love, check out these Roll o’ Gold!
