I’m a little bit embarrassed to admit that before I wrote this blog post, I didn’t know that much about St. Patrick’s Day. I mean I know the basics – it’s a celebration of the Irish culture.
And you wear green so you don’t get pinched! I don’t know how kids are now, but back in the day the kids at school pinched hard. So you had to come up with some green, no matter how small the patch.
But that’s all I knew! So, I did a little research to inform myself of the basics.
It turns out that March 17th, which is St. Patrick’s Day each year, is the traditional death date of Saint Patrick, the foremost patron saint of Ireland.
AND the date marks the arrival of Christianity to Ireland. Who knew? I did not. I’m always interested in the origins of holidays. I like to know what I’m celebrating!
I’m also always interested in decorating my Happy Planner for holidays, which is why I’m excited to share these St. Patrick’s Day planner stickers with you! A whole page of them.
From argyle to a fox in a leprechaun hat, these stickers will have you feeling the luck of the Irish as you navigate through your busy schedule.
If you’ve got big plans for the holiday, you can add a touch of Irish flair to your calendar with these. The colors are also really fun. These stickers! make your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations all the more memorable!
Use the boxes for your standard planning or to fill up an empty space in your Happy Planner, and the teardrops and round shapes to highlight important meetings and appointments.
The flag shapes are fun for tasks and don’t forget to decorate your spread with the fun elements! I find that I use a lot of flag shapes in my spread. Which planner element do you find you use the most of?
