Easy Summer Cocktails

One thing I’ve learned to enjoy as I get older is porch sitting. The unfortunate part of living in the south for so long (which I did for 15 years) is that I couldn’t do much of it, because I 1) didn’t like humidity and 2) was feasted on by mosquitoes every time I walked out the door. Sometimes even with bug spray on. 😮

I should’ve introduced myself to people with screened in porches.

Anyway, the best thing about porch sitting, for me, is having a beverage in hand. What’s better on a lazy summer afternoon than a refreshing cocktail?

My favorites are beverages with pineapple juice and grapefruit juice. However I also like drinks with lemon juice and cranberry juice. I love a drink that is light and delicious but with some kick!

Now that I’m in the northwest, I’m not mosquito food anymore. I’m preparing for a nice summer out on my back patio with some summer mixed drinks. I put together a list of recipes I’d like to try, and I think you’re going to enjoy as well.

Grab some easy ideas for summer refreshments below. I’d love to know which ones on this you’ve tried, and what’s in your favorite summer cocktails. Leave me a comment with your favorite drink!
