- Toilet paper tube(s)
- Rocket top template
- Scrapbook paper
- Cardstock red and blue
- Tissue paper
- Baker’s twine
- Double stick tape
- Glue Dots optional
Place the patriotic themed scrapbook paper face down. Measure the tubes and mark the cuts on each end with a pencil.
Draw straight lines through both pencil marks with the ruler.
Cut the scrapbook paper to fit the tube using the scissors.
Place a line of double stick tape or a tape runner down the tube.
Wrap the paper around the tube and secure with more adhesive or tape.
Cut a piece of tissue paper to fit inside the base of the cardboard tube. Use double stick tape or glue dots to secure the tissue paper.
Use baker’s twine to secure the tail. Tie a bow. Cut fringe in the tissue paper.
Use the template included to cut the rocket toppers.
Fold the rocket toppers and hot glue them. Insert the candy into the cardboard tube and hot glue the topper to the top of the tube.
