Try this easy and delicious turkey biscuit casserole recipe, with a buttery biscuit crust and savory BBQ flavor. The family will ask for it again and again!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a casserole dish with non stick cooking spray.
Dice the zucchini and the bacon into pieces. Cook in a medium pan over medium-high heat with about 1/2 tbsp of olive oil.
In a separate pan, fully cook the ground turkey with a bit of oil.
Unroll the crescent rolls and lay them flat at the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking pan. Spread the dough until it's one continuous piece. Bake in the over for 5 minutes and remove.
Add the BBQ sauce and mustard to the ground turkey in a bowl and mix well.
Scoop the cooked turkey into the pan as the bottom layer. Sprinkle the cheese evenly on top, then do the same with the cooked zucchini and bacon.
Bake uncovered for about 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the edge of the biscuits have lightly browned.
Remove and allow to cool for 5-10 minutes, then cut and serve.
