- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup M&M’s, plus more to top

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup M&M’s plus more to top
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350℉ and line your baking dish with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter and 1/2 of the chocolate chips in a saucepan on medium to low heat.
- Remove from heat and whisk in eggs, both sugars, and vanilla.
- In a large bowl, mix together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients, then pour the wet ingredients in and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the M&M’s and the rest of your chocolate chips until combined.
