Discover how to sweeten up this Valentine’s Day with easy, adorable, and irresistibly tasty pretzel treats that everyone will adore. These valentine pretzels are perfect for gifts or parties.
Valentine’s Day: the time of year when love is in the air, cupid is sharpening his arrows, and we’re all scrambling to find that perfect gesture to show our affection without resorting to the cliche of supermarket flowers or cards that sing when opened (admit it, they’re a little weird).
In the spirit of creativity and sweetness, I’ve whipped up a treat that’s sure to make your Valentine’s heart flutter, even if you don’t love the holiday.
Valentine pretzels.
This delightful twist on a classic snack embodies the essence of Valentine’s Day. Two things – chocolate and pretzels – come together in a symphony of crunch and sweetness.
The true beauty of this treat lies in the customization. A sprinkle of M&Ms or a dash of colorful sprinkles in the colors of your choice bring a personal touch to each piece.
Because if there’s one thing better than a chocolate-covered pretzel, it’s a chocolate-covered pretzel with flair. It’s like putting a bow tie on a cat; unnecessary, but oh-so delightful!
So there you have it, folks.
This Valentine’s Day, let’s ditch the store-bought gifts for something that really gets to the heart of the matter: laughter, love, and pretzels dipped in chocolate.
Because nothing says “I love you” quite like a snack that’s as salty and sweet as your relationship!
Here’s what you’re going to need to make these tasty little heart shaped pretzel treats.
Ingredients
- 35 mini pretzels, heart shaped (look for the twists)
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 35 Valentines M&M’s
- Valentines sprinkles
Tools
- Piping bag with small nozzle
- Baking sheet
- Sauce pan
- Parchment paper
Tips and Thoughts for This Recipe
If you don’t have a piping bag or only have large nozzles then you can use a Ziploc bag with the corner cut off instead.
Lining your baking sheet with parchment paper makes the pretzels easier to remove once the chocolate has set. If the chocolate sticks to the baking sheet then it can cause the pretzel bites to break when you try to remove them.
You can customize these treats by using your favorite Valentine’s Day themed candy. We have also made these using mini Reese’s hearts and thought they were amazing!
Once the chocolate has set, you can store these bites in the fridge or on the counter. Keep them in an airtight container or Ziploc bag for up to 2 weeks.
