This recipe is sure to add a dash of joy to your holiday celebrations. Let’s get started and spread some edible Christmas cheer!

First, here’s what you’re going to need.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick salted butter
  • 1 bag mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal
  • Green food coloring
  • 1/2 cup Trix Minis cereal
  • Pam or other cooking spray

Tools

  • Sharp knife
  • 9 x 13 pan

There will be two tiny odd shaped end pieces. Eat them. you deserve it!

You might get tempted to add more marshmallow, but stick with what I suggest here. Too much marshmallow causes these to get sticky and fall apart.

My “secret trick” to press the krispies into the pan is to cover my hand with a sandwich bag that is coated with cooking spray. I use my hand to press the bars firmly.
