We’re talking about a no-bake, four-ingredient wonder here: Fruit Loops, butter, mini marshmallows, and a splash of vanilla extract. That’s it. This is simplicity at its finest, folks.
The beauty of these Fruit Loop cereal bars lies in their ability to transport you back to the simpler times of Saturday morning cartoons, but with a twist that’s all grown up (sort of).
They’re chewy, they’re crunchy, and they’ve got that fruity flavor that Fruit Loops are famous for, all wrapped up in a snack bar format that’s perfect for grabbing on the go or enjoying with a cup of coffee (or milk, we’re not judging).

Tips and Thoughts for This Recipe
You might get tempted to add more marshmallow, but stick with what I suggest here. Too much marshmallow causes these to get sticky and fall apart.
My “secret trick” to press the bars into the pan is to cover my hand with a sandwich bag that is coated with cooking spray. I use my hand to press the bars firmly.
Store covered at room temperature in an air tight container for up to one week.

Fruit Loop Bars
Ingredients
- 6 cups Fruit Loops cereal
- 4 Tablespoons butter
- 1 bag mini marshmallows
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Butter (or coat with non-stick spray) a 9×13 baking dish with 2-inch sides.
- Mix together two cups of the marshmallows with the cereal.
- In a large pot, melt butter and the bag of marshmallows over medium-low heat until just melted.
- Turn the heat off and stir in the 2 cups marshmallows and cereal mixture. The residual heat from the melted butter should be enough to melt them, but if it is not, turn it back on low until the marshmallows are smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a pan and spread out, pressing into the dish.
- Allow to cool for 20 – 30 minutes in the fridge before cutting.
