Looking for a DIY bulletin board idea that takes about five minutes? This is just the project for you! It’s really easy to do and is budget friendly.
You might have notices that I’m a fan of quick projects. Don’t get me wrong, I do love a good challenge, especially if it’s something fancy for the home or an outfit.
However it feels so good to have a list of projects that don’t take much time. With busy lives, sometimes it’s hard to take an hour or two for creative purposes.
This DIY bulletin board takes 5 minutes, tops. Little projects like this will boost your happiness and give you that extra energy for the bigger ones.
Make a Bulletin Board
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Wrapped canvas, any size (I used a 12×24 inch)
- Large piece of fabric
- Staple gun
- Push pins
Make sure your fabric is ironed out and there are no wrinkles. Lay it flat and place the canvas on top, face down. Start stapling the fabric to the canvas edges. Pull it until it’s snug but not too tight. Continue stapling around the canvas.
Take three or more push pins and press them into the wall. Make sure they are in a straight line. Then take your new board and hang it on the push pins.
Now decorate your little heart out! I adore this fabric so much and it ties in to the black and white theme I have in the studio.
You can use the push pins to attach photos and anything inspirational right to the canvas. No worries about it going into the wall either since the canvas is deep enough. Looks great and will probably last longer than normal cork boards.
