Paper Plate Owls That Are a Hoot to Make
Make an adorable paper plate owl with this easy kids craft! A fun and simple project perfect for classrooms, fall, or rainy day creativity.

Whoooooโs ready for a craft thatโs cute, cheap, and totally kid-approved? (Sorry, couldnโt resist the owl pun.) If your little ones are bouncing off the walls this fall and you need a quick project that doesnโt require a trip to the craft store, this paper plate owl has your back.
All you need is a plate, some basic supplies, and a willingness to embrace a little gluey chaos.
Hereโs the deal: paper plate crafts are a lifesaver. Theyโre affordable, they use stuff you already have lying around, and they give kids a chance to cut, paint, and glue to their heartโs content.
This owl isnโt just adorable, he’s “flexible.” You can make a wise old brown owl, a bright rainbow party owl, or even a sparkly night owl covered in glitter (if youโre brave enough).

The best part? Thereโs no right or wrong way to make it. Your kidโs owl might look like a wise professor, a goofy cartoon character, or something straight out of a Dr. Seuss book – and every version is a win.
Teachers love this one for classrooms, parents love it for rainy afternoons, and kids love it because, well, owls are just plain awesome.
So grab a stack of paper plates, cue up a nature show for inspiration, and letโs get crafting. By the end, youโll have an owl thatโs equal parts charming, silly, and absolutely fridge-door worthy.
