Let’s just say that I have yet to meet one person who doesn’t like it. If you’re that person, what is wrong with you? Haha kidding.

There are only a few things I’d like to mention, two frequently asked questions about this recipe.

First, what to do if you don’t have Twinkies or can’t buy them? I recommend using store-bought shortcakes as well as additional whipped cream.

Are you ready to give this fruit dessert recipe a try? Here’s what you’re going to need for this no bake Twinkie cake.

Ingredients

  • 8 packaged Twinkie snack cakes, unwrapped
  • 4 bananas, sliced
  • 1 can (20 ounce) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 box (3 ounce) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 container (8 ounce) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped peanuts
  • 15 maraschino cherries, drained

Ideally you can let this recipe set for at least an hour before serving. I have two hours in the recipe card because that’s preferred. If it’s really last minute, just do the best that you can because you want the pudding to set.
