This Simple DIY Fall Wreath for Kids is Perfect for a Rainy Day
This easy fall wreath craft for kids is perfect for toddlers, preschoolers, and up! Made with cardboard, paint, and stickers—no fancy supplies needed. A fun, hands-on autumn activity for home or the classroom!

There’s something about fall that makes me want to dive headfirst into all things cozy – sweaters, cider, and of course, crafts. The cooler temps are the perfect excuse to break out the paint, stickers, and glue, and make something festive with the littles.
That’s where this fall wreath craft comes in. It’s simple, it’s colorful, and best of all: it’s sticker-based. So if you have a kid who loves to peel and stick, this project is a winner.
You’ll only need a few supplies, and chances are you’ve already got them hanging out at home: cardboard, bowls for tracing, paint, leaf stickers, and a little ribbon or pom pom trim for the back.
It’s basically a build-your-own wreath situation that’s way easier (and more fun) than anything involving wire forms or real leaves crumbling all over your table.
This is one of those crafts that works great for a classroom setting, homeschool unit on seasons, or a rainy Saturday when the kids are bouncing off the walls and you need 60 minutes of focused activity (including drying time – bonus!).
Preschoolers can do it with help, and older kids can handle most of it themselves.
So grab your fall-colored stickers and let’s make something cute to hang on the wall or front door. It’s a celebration of autumn . . . kid-style!
