What is black and white and loved around the world? Panda bears! Today, I’m going to give you some amazing panda crafts that both you and your kids are going love!
Why do kids like pandas so much?
With their furry black ears and captivating eyes, pandas hold a special place in children’s hearts. Maybe it’s their playful nature or their roly-poly appearances that make them irresistible.
Crafting pandas allows kids to bring these gentle giants into their imaginative world, creating a connection that goes beyond the activity.
Fun Facts about Pandas
Before we get to all of the fun crafts, here are some facts about pandas you might enjoy:
Pandas spend about 12 hours a day eating and bamboo is the main food they eat. You’ll see that many of the crafts I’ve included below have bamboo in them because pandas are seen with it so often!
With all of that eating, pandas do a lot of pooping—around 40 to 50 times per day!
When giant pandas are born, they are pink, hairless, blind, and about the size of a stick of butter! Can you picture it?
Even though pandas can get quite big, they are known to be very gentle… gentle giants.
There are less than 1,900 pandas in the wild around the world! Crafting pandas can be a good way to introduce kids to endangered species and the significance of protecting these majestic creatures and their habitats.
Now, onto the crafts! I’ve got a bunch of panda-inspired fun listed below. Each craft will show you the playful spirit of these bamboo-munching cuties.
